Where Sharon's Been.
Sharon Breay, ASID, NCIDQ, principal of Breay Associates, has been assisting clients and giving informational seminars for many years. Sharon is an awarded, nationally certified senior design consultant, speaker, mentor, and author.

She has degrees in design from the University of Michigan, and was also chosen for an intensive two-year post-professional study program in clinical design through Herman Miller Milcare USA. In addition, she has been awarded General Electric's Intensive Lighting Studies for college lighting instructors. As a young adult, she studied fine art, allowing her to become a museum and gallery awarded artist, and ran a full-time commission business for over ten years. Sharon has taught and lectured at Baker College, Colorado State University, Delta Community College, Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, and Arapahoe Community College. She is a frequent speaker and ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) board member. She has contributed to various legislative efforts in her industry and in universal and environmental design.

Sharon believes it is very important to a projects' success to keep the client informed and in the decision-making at all steps of a project. She believes clients should have choices, and should be able to access project records at any time.

Community Affairs
Breay Design Associates believes in community involvement. Every month a mini-workshop in self-esteem and goal setting is provided to the women at Sacred Heart House. We mentor youth, provide programs for schools and groups such as Up With People and Urban League. We have provided design and design programs for such causes as The Easter Seal, AARP, and Northeast Denver Housing Authority.
